Check the connection of
HDC501

Reconnect HDC501

Step 3


Check RCV module
where RCV's placed
for any damage (Tear in
FPC, etc)

Replace the RCV module

Step 4


Check the signals on
L508, L509, VR503, VR504,
C504, C505

Resolder or replace UCP300

connected to main board?

Reassemble SIM/SD assy and still SIM
does not work, replace SIM/SD assy

Step 3

Check the SIM Voltage.
(C6 of SIM FPCB) >= 1.8
or 3.0?

Change to the new SIM card.
If it doesn`t still work SIM card after changing
the SIM card, Check the U300 (Crack etc)

Mobile phone does not power on.

Check the Battery Voltage.
Is it more than 3
.8V?

Charging the battery by TA.
If its voltage level is extremely low(under 3.0V),

Change the battery

Step 3

Power-on the phone and
check the power-on sound
or motor Vibration.

Sound or Vibration is ok?

Change the FRONT-LCD ASSY

Step 4

Check the TAC1000

(soldering crack, open, etc)

Change the TAC1000(Power-key switch)
And retry to the power-on operation.

Step 5

Check the U600 output voltage

(C665 > 1V,C664 > 1V)

If the output voltage is not satisfied with normal
condition, Change the U600.

※ Each voltage level has ±10% margin.

Step 6

Check the Clock OSC5000

Is that frequency 24Mhz?

Change the OSC5000.
Test condition (Oscilloscope setting)

20.0us.div (time division)

Step 7

check the initial operation

Step 8
